- I am not a sure footed billy goat!
- My legs run out of mountain running gas after about 7.5 miles
- I can still however run the flats well on tired legs
- I also successfully avoided getting my face in a picture taken by the official race photographer...that's me in the green shorts on the right. (note: you can buy pictures from race here!)
- It is awesome having friends at a race!!!
At the start of the race there was a sign posted with some simple instructions. I knew I was in for a hard run when I read the last bullet point.
I had a mix of old and new friends who were also at this race. And that made the race 10x better. Great seeing you and great job out there.
Josh - congrats for hitting that 3 hour mark!
New England Spahtens - It was great meeting some of you for the first time!
-Heather (aka www.RunFasterMommy.com) nice seeing you again. PS - you've got a great blog name too! Readers - Heather is a MUCH better writer than I am, go check out her recap of the race!
- Tara thanks for the silly pic of me during the race! ***Note to Self - stop sticking your tongue out anytime someone points a camera at you.
- Jason, Sarah, Geoff & Mark, can't want to race again with you all!

In the end I finished the 12 mountainous miles in 2:32:00. I had a lot of fun and hung out with some great folks.
I love running in the woods. Until next time.
